As I always do at Armchair BEA, I’ve *met* some new bloggers.  My resolution this year is to do a MUCH better job of keeping in touch with their posts and leaving comments.  I know how much I enjoy reading comments on my own blog, it seems only fair to spread the love around.

I would also like to thank the fabulous organizers of Armchair BEA for once again tackling this project.  I look forward to it every year.

My requests for next year’s topics would include one about mysteries — true crime, hard-boiled, cozy, detectives, and villains.  I would also like to do something where we can give author shout-outs.  Pick an author, write about why we like them (style, plots, characters) and highlight their works.  There’s nothing better than stumbling on an author you like and finding they wrote 56 more things for you to read!

So as I once again pack up virtual booth #221b, I leave you with this photo of my armchair.

Until next year!

  1. I LOVE your armchair! It looks like such a cozy reading space!

I really like your idea of featuring your favorite author too – although, I doubt I need any help increasing my TBR! Haha

  2. I love your armchair reading space! It’s so hard to keep up connections from these big blogging events! Will follow you and we’ll see what happens…

  3. Armchair BEA was great, wasn’t it? I didn’t have time to visit all the blogs I hopped to stop by, but I’m going to try and catch up over the next week.

I love your idea for future topics. I enjoy mysteries, although I don’t read them all that often…at least non-historical mysteries. I would also like to have some kind of author shout-out topic.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and following. I’ll be subscribing to your blog and I’m looking forward to chatting books with you 🙂

  4. I totally agree with you about the mystery/crime genre. That is one of my top favorites. I did work it in this year but I’d love to see it highlighted.

Love how you wrap up your wrap-up with the photo of the armchair. Nice touch. I’m looking forward to returning to read more of your posts. This was such a busy week and I’m way behind on my visits.
